Design Features:

  • Full lift is achieved by rapid opening within an overpressure of 5% of the Set Pressure.
  • Each Safety Valve is provided with an easing lever.
  • To avoid unauthorized alteration of set pressure, each valve is provided with an adjusting screw and checknut, concealed under a cap with Pad Lock.

Certification:

  • IBR Test Certificate: Provided in FORM III-C, duly signed by the Director of Boilers, Punjab.

These Cast Steel Single Post Safety Valves are designed for steam applications. The seat and body ring are available in 18/8% Cr./Ni (AISI-304) or Monel (Ni Cu Alloy), while the stem is made of 18/8% Cr./Ni (AISI-304). Available in various sizes to accommodate different piping systems, these safety valves feature inlet flanges to Class-300 and outlet flanges to Class-150 as per ASME B16.5 standards. With a maximum backflow operating pressure of 250 PSIG and a maximum working temperature of 425°C, they provide reliable overpressure protection in steam systems. Each valve is equipped with an easing lever for ease of operation, and to prevent unauthorized alteration of the set pressure, an adjusting screw and checknut are concealed under a cap with Pad Lock. Certified with an IBR Test Certificate, these safety valves meet regulatory standards for use in steam applications.
