Seats: 13% Cr. Stainless Steel (ASTM A182 Gr.F6a /AISI – 410) or Monel (Ni.Cu Alloy)
Stem: 13% Cr. Stainless Steel (ASTM A182 Gr.F6a /AISI – 410)
Inlet Flange: IBR Table – ‘F’
Outlet Flange: IBR Table – ‘D’
Test Pressure:
- Max. BOP (Backflow Operating Pressure): 150 PSIG
- Max. Working Temperature: 220°C
- Test Pressure: 300 PSIG Hyd.
Design Features:
- Full lift achieved by rapid opening within an over pressure of 5% of the Set Pressure.
- Each safety valve is provided with an easing lever.
- Cover of Adjusting Screw and Pad Lock provided to avoid unauthorized alteration of the Set Pressure.
Certification:
- IBR Test Certificate: Provided in FORM III-C, duly signed by the Director of Boilers, Punjab.

This Cast Iron Spring Loaded, Full Lift, Single Post Safety Valve is designed for steam applications. The seats are available in 13% Cr. Stainless Steel (ASTM A182 Gr.F6a /AISI – 410) or Monel (Ni.Cu Alloy), while the stem is made of 13% Cr. Stainless Steel (ASTM A182 Gr.F6a /AISI – 410). It features an inlet flange to IBR Table – ‘F’ and an outlet flange to IBR Table – ‘D’. With a maximum backflow operating pressure of 150 PSIG and a maximum working temperature of 220°C, this safety valve ensures safe operation in steam systems. It undergoes testing up to 300 PSIG Hyd. for quality assurance and is certified with an IBR Test Certificate, meeting regulatory standards for use in steam applications.
